I've always been a true Nikon fan. Mine is a Coolpix7900 but i think they dont make those anymore.. The only problem that might occure with Nikon is that most of them might not be pocketable enuff for you :( but id deff go with a Nikon. As a matter of fact Im thinking of replacing mine to a more professional one, like Nikon D70 (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond70/) wow the ad sounds cool :) so this is what u were working at!
