Just never ever go with Plusnet, whatever you do.

They are great if everything runs fine, but their customer service is shocking to say the least and we've been arguing with them since August as our line is only getting 0.5MB, instead of the 7.5 our line can actually carry.

We've had 4 BT engineers here who have all told us that our line is fine and the problem is with Plusnet. Plusnet on the other hand are claiming it's BT's fault.

So, why does it happen that we get 7.5MB on our line when the BT engineer tests it, yet only 0.5 when we're connected to Plustnet?

/rant. Sorry! ISP's drive me crazy!

Well you know when i was disconnected from the internet? It was because sky said we had to do all this stuff, told us to cancel our internet provider and then we waited 2 months before deciding to go with Be. I know nothing of their hosting but i know their customer service is crap. We eventually got a letter 2 months after going with be who set up our internet within 5 days.

They talked to sky, talked to the exchange and got everything switched over really quickly. My only problem with sky is their customer service at the end of the day.

Ha ha, shut it!

Interesting to see you hate Sky, Matt and Steve on the other hand swears by it. I can't really comment on your connection Matt, though I presume your hosting abilities are decent on team games greater than 8 people; like say Vegas and GRAW? I have been impressed with Steve's connection, it seems vastly better than mine (Pipex), Jay's (NTL) and Cormac's (too stupid to know ISP :P). Stew, how's your hosting man? I've played in your games and sometimes it's been tip top, and other times a nightmare. What's the story there dude?
