Battlefield 2 Comes out today!

Ok, so to most of you, i’m not some avid hardcore gamer, right? Hell, I can’t be, i don’t have a pre-order for Xbox 360 even! :lol: Yet there is this side to me, that I guess many of you here didn’t know – it’s probably just a guy thing, but I do like ma games! 8) I pre-ordered this game, which is spot on for me – it’s a squad based army game which you can play over Xbox Live! Personally, these days I only either play Xbox Live! titles, or multiplayer games with my friends. Playing games alone, gets boring, fast… I used to enjoy playing single player games, but these days, I need someone to verbally abuse, punch of kick when they don’t score from my lovely cross!! :lol: Heh.

So yeh, hopefully Royal Mail delivers my game today, on time… If so, maybe I won’t blog much this weekend! :lol:

For those of you, who didn’t know, I co-founded and run Matchbox360.co.uk 8) so yea I am probably kind of, a keen gamer? It’s finding the time! I spend more time on the website tinking and working on things, than actually playing games!!! :x Go figure?! :lol:

    Did you ever play HAlo 2 ?

    For the record, Battlefield 1942, I was ranked 36th in the world, 12th on the Tobruk Map.

    My clan was top of the league, and I made money gaming.

    That was 2 years ago.

    I also got ranked 4th in Fifa 2005, beat the number 1 ranked guy too ;)

    Did I ever play Halo 2? :lol: I am the DON at Halo 2 mate. 8) That, and Ghost Recon 2 are the games I play on Xbox Live! I’m not into PC Gaming, but on Xbox it’s great, pickup and play, no managing drivers and crap, it’s all good.

    Sounds like you’re pretty handy with BF 1942 – I’ve only played the Xbox version, but it seems hella good to me – hence why I ordered it. It’s arrived, so it looks like a night in tonight. 8)

    Ranked 4th on FIFA? What in the world?! :?

    I can’t say as though I’ve ever reached dizzy heights in games, Halo 2 was the first game I really explored playing online. Met some cool people, and now run a thriving UK gaming community, so it’s been good. 8) I was a BTB battle whore, in Halo 2 though, that’s really my territory.

    Only bad thing with Halo 2, for me, is the amount of idiots who chat pure TRIPE, online. That’s annoying – and it’s the soul reason we started up the website anyhow – to match-make UK gamers, to relieve latency and also having to endure Americans saying how we have bad teeth, or eat scones all day… Yada yada… :roll:
