So Christmas is what, a few days away now?

WHAT?! Seriously?

Man! It’s crazy, for me, it totally ISN’T feeling like Christmas at all. It’s not because of what’s particularly happening in my life, I don’t recall anything setting a major ‘downer’ on the time of year, it’s just this odd sensation that it doesn’t feel like December 21st. You go outside, it doesn’t look, or feel like it’s this time of year… Nothing feels ‘right’. Yet, ironically if you take a step back, and ask yourself… What would “Right” feel like?, you or I couldn’t easily answer this! After all, it’s not love now, is it?

But still, none-the-less, I stand by my statement, it totally DOES NOT feel like Christmas! It’s cool though, don’t get me wrong, I love Christmas, I love the happiness and the positive vibe it brings to most people, you can’t beat it. I’ve got some presents sorted, but I’m trying to save, so I have to admit i’ve not spent as much on people as i’d like to. I’ve tried to be a little original with things I’ve bored, i cannot stand people who don’t even put thought into what they buy – anyone who buys gift vouchers needs a beating! They’re the people you love and care about – do you seriously not know enough about them, to NOT be able to buy them something you know they are into/like? Things ‘Could’ be better for me, I could have a girl by my side, my injury could be gone, and my dad could have recovered his stolen bike… But hey, we can’t mope, just look forward huh?

Talking of the bike, rumour has it, it’s been spotted, literally 15mins walk from my place, with some of the most noterious, and rough families, being named as the ‘culprits’. We have an idea which collection of garages its being kept in, but we need to find out specifically which one. Unfortunately, even if we DO find that out, it won’t be plain sailing, retrieving it from there… Almost ANYONE shares the same opinion about police, in that they’re not really interested, and it’s far too ‘long winded’ that in an odd kind of way – they schematics actually favour the criminal. It’s suggested that even if we knew where it was, and told them, they’d need a statement from someone, and then have to apply for a warrant for that address/premise. They may well have to also interview/speak to the owner, before doing their search, which makes it a tentative situation. Imagine if they go to see the thieves, and in that time, a friend or colleague, simply moves the bike on… They get away with it, and the bike appears to evaporate. Unfortuantely, many of my friends are suggesting the only way we’re really likely to retrieve the vehicle, is via, well… British Beef, if you get me… I know of people, through people, and it could be done, but it’s not really what I, nor my father really wants… But, it appears to be ‘an option’. Hmm…

Asides from all this TV Drama-esque stuff, what else is kicking? Well, i’m still siiiinnngglle, which sucks at Christmas, but I can’t complain really, it’s my own damn fault for being so picky. I wouldn’t change it for the world – well I might… I’d change the fact I can’t seem to find Miss Right… That stinks, but my chin is up (it needs a bit of a shave – but it’s up! ).

I played 60mins football last night, indoor 5-a-side. That’s the most football i’ve played, in TOTAL of nearly 3 months now, so that was amazing. I’ve missed my fitness orientated stuff like crazy, but most of all the football. It was great to be involved again, and I totally enjoyed it – even if i look a little bit of a fool, wearing this BLOODY knee support. Unfortunately I DO still need it, and I think I will do for a few months at least yet. I don’t have 100% confidence in my ligament ever regaining its former self, but I hope it becomes strong enough, to allow me to play my sports and do my exercise. I want my fitness back, I totally feel the difference now, and it stinks!

Skype – Skype is cool… Had one or two interesting chats with the foreign ‘species’ of late, which was kinda cool.

As you can see, i’m in one of my writing moods… Hmm…
