Wow, so another year is here, huh? They come and go so fast these days, and damn! I sound so old saying that, am I withering away? New Years Eve itself, was kinda sucky for me, and now I feel quite the same – sick. I’ve got a blazing headache, that should only be the result of properly partying, yet I’ve got all the pain, and no fun. So yeah, my New Year’s Eve was kinda dull and not too hot. I guess there’s a positive way at looking at it. If i’m ill/sick now then hopefully that’s my quota, for the new year, and i’ll be good to go for 2006. :)

I think 2006, should be a very interesting year for me, and I hope I get to share that, with somebody special too. It’s gonna be a long year of saving, planning and preparation, but i can’t wait! :)

Hi Neyo. I saw this and remembered you, take care, luv:

    From Billboard Magazine

    NE-YO

Nicknamed Ne-Yo after the movie character Neo in “The Matrix,” the 22-year-old R&B singer has already made people sit up and take notice of his skills.

With producer Scott Storch and Kam Houf, he co-wrote Mario’s long-running R&B/pop hit “Let Me Love You,” which recently copped two Billboard Music Awards. In addition to writing credits for Mary J. Blige, B2K, Faith Evans and Musiq, Ne-Yo (born Shaffer C. Smith) is ready to add another milestone to his resume. On February 28, his Def Jam album will debut, under the fitting title “In My Own Words.”

Meanwhile, the Arkansas-to-Las Vegas transplant already has two successful singles under his belt. “Stay” featuring Peedi Crack peaked at No. 36 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, while ‘So Sick” is currently No. 22.

His brand of melodic R&B has been featured on BET Style, MSNBC and MTV, where he was profiled on “You Hear It First.” After wooing fans last summer on a Teen People-sponsored listening-lounge tour with labelmates Rihanna and Teairra Mari, which was hosted by Def Jam honcho Jay-Z, Ne-Yo went on to open for John Legend.

Aisha, that you? Wow, cool to hear from you girl! Yeah, you won’t be the first person to have taken note of my ‘alias’. I use the exact same alias, still on Xbox Live, and i’ve had multiple people actually mention it, or better still start singing ‘So Sick’ to me! I have to admit though, alias’s aside, i’ve been enjoying some of the stuff my brother neyo has been putting out. There’s a good 6 or 7 tracks out there to be heard, have you heard them all?
