Ok, so I kinda need to get a 360 really, forgetting for a second whether I WANT one, or not, I kinda need one. With MatchBox360.co.uk growing daily, gaining steam and all the rest of it, the staff – and ideally the gamers too, need 360′s.. Sounds logical, sounds simple eh? Give or take firstly I suppose Availability, and indeed finances too! I’m kinda lucky in the latter department, I wouldn’t say I am flush, but i’m not totally skint either, so… I’ve set my sights on a Premium version, and I just cannot find one. I have to admit I’ve not CALLED one single company to buy one, or enquire, because it felt like a waste of my time really. Plus, the God’s honest truth at the moment is, this… I want the console, because of it’s potential this year, but frankly, NONE of the games out now, make me want if for simply software. So yeah, that’s why i’ve not pre-ordered many moons back, or tried in recent weeks to get one. Seems ironic, that I should be talking about it now (…to myself!) I know, but hm…

I DO want one! I definitely want one for Ghost Recon 3:Advance WarFighter, and probably the revised version of Battlefield 2. I know there’ll be other titles too, but it’s all if’s, but’s and maybes… I’ve emailed a guy on eBay about an auction he is selling. Seems quite a good, straight deal – though of course, NOT ‘too good to be true’. Fingers crossed he’ll get back to me, with what I asked, and allow me to make a bid, and i’ll be all smiles by the end of the week! Strangely, I feel like.. I’ll get the hardware, but i’ll be stuck, lost, wondering which half-hearted attempt for a game I want to waste my time playing..

Still having a good crack on the ol’ Xbox anyhow. Played some Co-Op with Cormac (Dunno if you read this fella, I doubt it…) on Splinter Cell – that was a good crack. Shame it’s put my sleep pattern EVEN more out of sync, but it was good. Different from the usual all out shooting action! Saying that, played a bit of Halo 2 over the weekend, and that’s not been too bad actually. Came to the conclusion that i’ve still ‘not lost it’. I’ll never be a top, top player, because i don’t have the heart or time to put into it, but I can feel i’m clearly better than the average player! Making your opposition look stupid, is always fun!
