So I gotit! It’s great, love it! Haha… That’s the shortest review, you’ve ever read, huh? Well… It is great, it has such huge potential, but that’s only if EA do something GOOD with Battlefield 2:MC! We know Ghost Recon 3 will absolutely ROCK – this is the time when the 360 will be really ‘next gen’ for me! GR3 looks amazing, really cannot wait for that! In the mean time though, it seems like everyone is gonna spend the majority of their time attaining the black pearl and trickshot master achievements in arcade! Or is that just me, and Cormac?

Anyhow, so this is one of the main reasons, i’ve not really been blogging very much. I’ve wasted alot of time in the last week or so, playing games I wouldn’t normally. It’s not all bad, they’re not CRAP games, but they’re far from what I, and most of my buddies expected.

Perfect Dark Zero – It had a tonne of hype, and being a launch title too, i’m sure it sold by the bucket load. Question is though, would that of still been the case, if it had be released, say now? I don’t think so, personally. It doesn’t ‘look’ too bad, and i guess it plays ‘ok’, but personally it’s a LONG LONG way off being Halo 2. I’m not any kind of Halo 2 fanboy, I love the game, but I have no problems admitting to liking something else. Unfortunately though, PDZ isn’t what it ought to have been. Online multiplayer feels slow, and killing people really does feel quite random really.. It’s really not all that much fun at all, it might be alot better, if the characters moved twice as fast, and maybe the shields were turned off. Out of the box, so far, i’ve not really been enjoying it all that much though, to be honest. Online Co-Op might be it’s own reason for sitting in the CD tray at the moment, though I am not sure how long that will last, either.

FIFA 06 Road To The World Cup

To be completely honest, I’ve never really been ‘into’ football games, personally. I play alot of football, myself, and i’ve always felt that playing it on a console leaves me feeling quite limited, and that the game felt quite ‘linear’. Many people simple said to me, check out Pro Evo, and you’ll be all gooooodd. I did, I have tried it a few times, with some mates on a Saturday night, and I can’t get into it. FIFA? How does it play? Actually, I think quite well actually. I’ve spent a good few hours playing it, mainly unlocking parts of the game to kick Cormac’s gamerscore into touch, but I was actually enjoying it. I say, WAS… Because my 360 has managed to ruin the disc, it no longer works. Its somehow scratched it, whilst it was running, and there’s a massive circular scratch around the inside of the outer rim. Fingers crossed, Woolworth’s in town, will let me exchange it! It wasn’t really MY fault that this happened. If not, damn.. Not a great start to 360′ life!

Still really liking my 360 though, I can see me spending ALOT of time on it, which is actually a good thing. With me trying my best to save money for travelling, this could be JUST what I need, to achieve those goals! It’s the only time, staying in, and NOT spending money feels the right thing to do. Unfortunately, as ironic as it sounds, EVERYONE keeps asking if i’m going out, doing this, or coming here… So bloody typical! Then they give me ‘the look’ when I say no! Sucks!!
