MatchBox360 takes it’s first stride forward.

After a stagnant summer, or so it’d seem to the average visitor to the site, it’s refreshing to see some work actually go live, and revitalize the place a little. After a hectic few days between lines of code, images and many cups of coffee we’ve made the switch to a new forum, which a fairly different design. I and many i’ve spoken to, prefer the design, I just hope the 2,500 member appreciate it too. Of course you can’t please everybody, and I don’t expect to, so for those unhappy, my deepest apologies! :P

On a slight tangent, I haveto say, each and every time I work in and around these projects, I feel my skills as a designer, growing. I recall being perplexed by CSS back in 2001, and now I totally love it. I love it even more when you pull of designs that will workin in Safari, FireFox and the god forsaken IE – Makes it ALL worthwhile! :P

Of course, as the title suggests, there is more to come, not only from the forum, but from other avenues too, which is occupying too much of my time, and ruining any chance of a sleep patten of late. So with that said, naturally blogging has taken a back seat. Anyhow, assuming the DNS records are updated where-ever you are when read this, and also assuming you’re from Xbox Land, go and check out the new forums, and give me your feedback.

Out of curiousity, who-ever reads this, please tell me… Do you know what RSS is, or have you used it? A simple yes/no answer will be fine. :)

It’s very nice to see the change in MB and I’m really loving Vanilla now. You definitely have convinced me. :)

In answer to your question, I don’t really know what it does or is, but I’m using it…

Oh cool, Moose reads too? Jesus!

Cat – yeah, it does grow on you for sure, though I think with Moose it’s going to take a little longer. For me, despite some negative feedback you kind of realize it’s actually simpler. :)

RSS – how do you ‘use’ RSS then girl? :)
