8pts… So far so good!

oxford utdSo we won AGAIN yesterday, that’s now 12 games unbeaten in this league, and giving us a tidy 8 POINT lead at the top of the nationwide conference. It really has been a dream start for the boys, for the manager and for the club. This couldn’t of come soon enough, finally we’re actually doing something positive, after the best part of 5 years, maybe longer on a steep road to decline. Long may it continue, as much as it’s nice winning these games, we NEED to be back in the league! Props to the fans too, getting a tidy 6,500 week after week for home matches is quite commendable for a Nationwide Conference team. :)

Nice to see my second team (or should I say, ‘League team’?), Man Utd, won quite convincingly 2-0 to go back to the top of the premiership on goal difference. Always a delight to see Mr. Solskjaer scoring, forever a Utd legend! Cheers to Villa, for a fine draw away at Stamford Bridge yesterday! :)

    Err… I don’t think so, no. Our midfield is still rather weak really, Carrick whilst a good player isn’t the battler we need, him and Scholes are a little too similar in my view. Fletcher’s not good enough, and the rest are wide players (Giggs, Park Ji-Sung, Ronaldo, Richardson).

    We need someone like Guttaso, Viera, someone who’ll battle to the death, like Roy Keane did! Until then I don’t think we have a chance, looking at Chelsea’s squad. I have to say, I am PLEASED Shevchenko isn’t scoring many, it makes the 30m tag look a bit rediculous! I hope that doesn’t change… :P

    Chelsea’s squad.. Yeh, they got some very impressive midfield :o Kinda like the dream team lol But i still dont like the FC, even tho I adore most of the players.. Same for me with the french national team. Its kinda wierd..
    As for Shevchenko.. Dunno whats wrong with him.. They say english football is too different from italian so thats why he cant really play, but i think its nonsense! I mean, yes, english football IS different but it shudnt matter if u r a player SUPPOSEDLY so cool to be payed 30 mill.. *sigh* I think he might just be err.. too old?
