So me, and 5 other buddies (yes that makes SIX, I know! ) kicked off another round of 5a side this evening, with two games. To my knowledge we WON both of them, BUT… I am a bit worried now. As I left the pitch a buddy of mine said to me… “Unlucky mate…” and then I spoke to another mate on MSN who said he heard we drew 2-2 or somethig. Now… This is worrying, because we clearly won 3-2. Hopefully the Ref was counting, because it seems onlookers weren’t quite upto speed. Here’s to hoping, because I won’t be pleased else!

- Reminds me, I need to get my fixtures up onto Google Calendar for the team, these scans are a pain in the butt!

All in all though, it was a really good night, saw some old faces and it was good to catch up. One great thing about football, is how social it is, you can’t beat that. Good to back in it!

Travelling opportunities are getting me down a bit at the moment, I really don’t where I am at with it all. I *CAN* do it, but firstly I need to muster up some money, QUICK, and secondly I need to make my mind up… Do I want to travel over the USA as well? I have the idea, to drop the USA all together, if I still go, purely down to expense, given that i’ve been there a few times already… Furthermore though, i’m getting a bit of a stinky vibe, from one of the girls I’m supposed to be going with, and this is off-putting me a little. I don’t know what to do!!

Oxford Utd drew 2-2 today, at home to Southport. Yes it sounds pretty dire, I know. But we DO still have our unbeaten record now (13 games) and we’re still a tidy 6pts clear, things COULD be worse. Admittedly, I was a bit disapointed when I saw the score, but hey, it’s better than a kick in the teeth, as they say.

Work? Well… It’s now 1.50am and I’ve got to redraft a form for tomorrow. I’ve said i’d do this for a few days, but I also had an advert to do since then. So after a couple of days of lying, telling her i’d done it, but left it at my desk, I’ll get on with it, and be hella tired tomorrow. Annoying given tonight was far more strenuous than most, but alas, that’s what I get for lying, huh?
