I kinda thought something had changed, earlier when I was reading my feeds. I noticed the left pane had updated itself, and showed the usual web2.0 yellow fade. Sure enough, it turns out Google has quickly worked to enhance their the new look and feel to Google Reader. The full run-down of their enhancements, can be found here. Most noticable to me, was the auto update of feeds every few minutes, and the ability to use the space bar, once more to cycle to the next feed in your list.
