Stupid Shopping Mall…

Disclaimer: This post has no correlation to Capcom’s ‘Dead Rising’, Xbox 360 title! :P

Ok, so I went out to meet a friend today, and instead of waiting around for her, I figured i’d try and walk a bit further, to meet her ‘half way’. The quickest way to reach her, was through the mall, and I’d notice the place never seemed locked up at night. So, sure enough, I went to the door to try it, and it was unlocked. ‘Sweet’, I thought as I walked in. A little further in (maybe 20yds) I catch someone saying something over the sound of my iPod. At first, I thought it was some random announcement, being played as they do in the mall. I caught the end of it, and it was some woman telling me the mall was closed, and I should leave. Now, it was about 9pm, I could clearly see the mall was closed. Anyhow, so I turned around, and tried to leave… The Door wouldn’t let me out, after some fumbling, and her guiding me to some hidden button to open the door, i was free once more. How stupid did I feel? Well, fairly, but more to the point I felt angry! Why? Well… If the mall is closed, WHY are the doors open, allowing people the opportunity to walk in, soon to told to get lost?! That annoys me. It’s like having an extra road open at night-times, that you’re not allowed to drive on. If you can’t use it, why have it accesible? What a JOKE! :x
