So, with all this talk of travelling, the last thing I expected to be doing is picking up any more gadgets, before 2007 is out. Much to my dismay I might add, I do like my gadgets for sure, and sure enough i’ve squeezed one more out before I hit New York in April!

My dad offered to buy my current Digital Camera from me, which is great because it’s not the most ideal of camera’s to take around with you. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good camera, but it’s not overly pocketable, and is best used in manual modes rather than point and click.

So this left me, with a little bit of a dilemma, what do I go for? If it were cell phones, i’d be sweet; I keep very much upto date in that market, but cameras? I only ever check them out, when i’m in the market for one, but it looks like i’ve found the right one for me.

It’s the Sony DSC-T50, in short featuring a slim compact design, 3x Optical Zoom, 7 Megapixel and last but not least a 7.5cm touch screen LCD display. It appears to be just what the doctor ordered, in terms of form and function and i’m all excited to have a play! Now I have to make good use of it, to justify spending out for ‘just one more thing’ before travelling… When it’s the iPhone of compact digital camera’s, I’ll be sure to post back my thoughts in the coming days after it arrives.
