Twitterrific!

Ok, so some of you (who aren’t lazy and use RSS), may have noticed the ‘chat bubble’ like module next to my blog posts. It’s an applet from Twitter, which is basically a small web application for you to tell the world, what you’re upto. It’s intended for small things, maybe even pointless things, whatever you want really. I picked it up, because it works via Cell, it works via IM (including AIM & Gtalk/Jabber), and it a midway gap between IM, and my blog. A friend of mine, the fella, clearly i’m chatting to in today’s ‘tweets’, recommended me Twitterrific and i’m really liking it. It’s a lightweight Mac OS X application that allows you to read and reply through Twitter, showing the day’s tweet’s. It’s also a nice example of how simple application design can be in Mac OS X, and that usually wouldn’t be something i’d mention, but with the PC vs Mac debate reaching 120 posts at Matchbox360, it’s quite fitting. Things like it updating iChat, to represent what you’re upto, is a nice touch! :) So yeah, Mac users, have a look, and maybe get twitterring, hit me up via this link. PC users, well twitter is still fun, and there’s maybe an application out there for you, too?! :)
