My thoughts’ are with the family who lost Ken after such an inhumane act… I have to admit, i really don’t watch the news, i hate to subject myself to bad news all the while, it just brings people down. – Reminds me of saying

“What you don’t know, don’t hurt you” – Too true

Anyhow, some time ago, before the killings of the American captives, this was just another news story i knew a thing about, i was rather oblivious to it all. That all changed one day, when i heard about two of the 3 captives had been beheaded. That in itself is rather SOMETHING to stand up and take note of. At this point i didn’t know anymore about it, and in many ways, i sighed at it all, and looked on, to try and get beyond it all. (And just hope I hear no more of this ruthless, heartless behavior) However i had the misfotune to see the Beheading video’s. I say misfortune because in retrospect, i wish i hadn’t watched them. I know i had the choice to do so or not, but in honesty – i never expected them to actually be what they turned out to be. I figured they’d be fakes, or something, but i truly never even believed they’d be what i saw… I honestly have NEVER seen anything like it my life, it really shook me up like nothing ever did. After watching it, in complete shock, i was left rather speechless, and as dramatic as it may sound, for the remainder of that day too. It really was an awful thing to see, and i would never watch them a second time. With that said, i really cannot believe just how Mr. Bigley’s family must be feeling, and more unfortunately how Mr. Bigley must have felt himself after losing his comrades and been effectively ‘next on the chopping block’. To be tortured like this, truly is lowest of the low, these people are monsters, and a embarrassment to our own race. How these people can do such a thing is beyond me.
