I’ve always enjoyed this game, but never to the same degree as my buddy Cormac, who absolutely loves this game. Now, his 45,000 or thereabouts gamerscore would suggest he’s a bit of an achievement whore, and you’d be right on the money there too. One game however, he hasn’t managed to scrape 1,000 gamerscore from, is Dead Rising. The last achievement left, is ’7 Day Survivor’, and he’s failed a couple of times in trying to achieve it. Both times whilst private chatting to me, which was somewhat amusing, I have to admit. Now… After hearing him talk about the game, it really made me want to get back playing the game again, and so I managed to get a copy, trading it for Rainbow Six Vegas. After having settled into the game, killing 53,594 zombies for my ‘Real Mega Blaster’ and getting a feel for the mall, i’m curious about survivor mode. The premise, is that you have so much food in the mall to live on, and your health depleats over time. So in essence, your job is to creep around the mall, nabbing food, and basically surviving. Only problem, is the zombies are everywhere.

So i’ve jumped into it, I don’t expect to get close to the 7 day survivor, but gaining an understanding of the mode will be enough, for next time around. Since the mode is rather boring, I thought I’d blog somewhat my ‘adventures’ as the night passes by.
