So my peeps have been away, the last week, in Greece, and i’ve been home alone, still skint as ever. It’s been not so bad, i’ve seen some familar faces, and spent countless hours on the phone to keep me occupied, but it’ll be nice to see them home. It’ll be nice to hear their stories, have a butchers at their pictures and catch up, not to mention not have to cook! Looks like it’ll be my last week too, I’m due to move next weekend, one way or another, so this week will be a little strange I guess!

Watched England vs Germany in the women’s world cup and was quite impressed by England. Although I have a major gripe with all the ladies, why do they all insist on shooting from 20 yards plus? I don’t want to sound sexist, but if the fella’s have a hard enough time trying to score from 20-30 yards, why are the women constantly trying it? I felt there were many opportunities in the game where they could of retained possession and tried to work the ball in the box, but choose to launch the ball into the crowd.

Of course, being a fella I had to wonder what kind of ‘talent’ was on show, and as expected, there wasn’t much. Although, I was quite struck by Fatmire Bajramaj (img), a Kosovan footballer who plays for Germany. I’ve always been a sucker for chicks why beyond my reach, maybe that’s why, but I think she’s cute… Thoughts?
