So I lied, a little…

I did, I promised to myself at least, I’d get back into blogging, and it totally hasn’t happened. I’d put it down to a collection of things, probably most of all the fact I really don’t spend as much time on the internet, these days as I used to. 5 minutes on Facebook a day, typically is my limit. despite that, I think I may have turned the corner, for the moment at least. I picked up an iPod touch, last weekend, and i’ve been loving it ever since. Apart of me decided I wanted to learn to develop rich mobile apps for these types of devices, and the other half, simply that I love gadgets.

So what of it? I won’t break it down too far, but it’s become more than just an iPod to me, and I actually choose to primarily read my mail on my iPod, as opposed to my computer. The convenience factor, makes it a pleasure to use, and over time this will only get better. More and more sites are developing for this new type of device and I am intrigued to see where it’ll go. So much so, i’ve already begun working on an web app; assuming Mr. Stu still wants to do the gimpy stuff?! :) More on that shortly…

As for the run of the mill stuff, well… Works busy, and kinda tiring, but that’s probably more because of late nights, like this one, more than anything to be honest! This weekend was my last ‘lazy’ weekend before the run up to Christmas really begins. This weekend I’m jetting down to London (on a coach no less) for the big, often forgotten (yeah right?) Expotel Christmas party. I’ve heard much about it, and I am pretty sure it’s going to get messy. I am looking forward to getting to meet some new people though, and seeing if Sophie REALLY does speak to me, during the night. That Sunday though, I’m planning on rushing across London and up to my hometown, to meet a group of my mates for the Man Utd vs Liverpool game. That is going to be rough; well I am going to be feeling hella rough, and if I make it, the journey that night back to Manchester will be rather painful…

…More to follow, for sure. The ‘blog’ itself might even get some love soon, afterall, we all love iPhone now, right Luke?
