Ok, so i’ve not made a blog entry in a good few days now. Since then, we’ve fixed and worked on a lot of the quirks with the house. It still is merely a ‘stop gap’ to something other, but I don’t feel quite so dejected by it all, as I did sound in my last few entries.

It’s funny, the only reason I decided to write this, was because.. Well this is funny. -

My brother sometimes leaves stuff on my bed or on the floor near my bed. I find this annoying, so in the middle of the night, I throw it on his bed, whilst he is sleeping. It’s funny because sometimes he wakes up, and kinda flinches, unknown to what has landed on his bed. He must think it’s the world’s largest spider or something! To see it though, is truly priceless. Yes I am evil, but i’m the big brother, it’s in the contract!

I got an email from Pipex (my ISP) who tell me my internet will be ready by Friday 29th April. Personally I can only say I will believe it, when I am back on DSL, until then I won’t be getting my hopes up! Dialup really is sucking so bad, I never realized, it’s just so depressing.

The Halo site ( UKHaloMatchMaker.co.uk ) got a special shoutout by Bungie (Halo 2′s creators) on their homepage, which is a nice source of advertisement. We’ve now topped 300 British gamers, which is class really.
I’ve spent the last few days working on the design for the league portal, which is due to kickoff in and around the time I can get back on DSL to sort alot of it. I wanna try and finish the majority of that work, by the Friday. The leagues’ been postponed long enough…

Casey – been learning Illustator and actually coded my first page / design all myself in CSS. You would be proud. Shame my Dialup won’t even let me on IM or FTP services though.

I caved in, and bought a new bike last Monday. I skipped work for the day, and pocketed a new ride. Who said you need spinners and bling bling. Meh, nice pair of pins, and the windswept hairstyle gets the ladies falling at your knees! ..Ok, maybe I DO need to learn to drive afterall! Haha. Nah, loving the cycling, like I did before I got rid of my last bike. Between Thursday and Friday I easily cleared 40 miles, which left my legs rather knackered to say the least. Good stuff though, it’s all for a good cause! Speaking of causes, it left me kinda skint – around £400. Worth IMO, although a few did say..

“WHAT? You could of bought a car for that!”

Meh, it would of bought me a fat ass and a gut too!

Anyhow, it’s later than I expected to be now. (3.34am) I guess I will be proper whacked in the morning!

- Ok so I posted this to my blog the following morning. Ugh, it is absolutely hammering it down outside! – Looks like i’mma get soaked on the way to work. 3 cheers for England’s weather!
