One Thirty, for a bag?
After enjoying Man Utd’s sneaky 1-0 victory over Liverpool, at Anfield, I took a trip into town with the idea of maybe picking up some equipment for my RTW trip.
After speaking to some really helpful people in ‘Active Outdoor & Ski’, I picked up a hefty looking bag for a hefty £130 (Ugh, retail!). The ‘Karrimor Wilderness 75′, with detachable day-pack, loads of clips, support and hopefully everything I need. Question now is, what other kit SHOULD I take? I’m undecided about a PacSafe, though I am swaying towards picking one up, any views? I would of picked one up today, straight up, but after spending £130 on a bag, it kinda felt a bit of a kick in the teeth to maybe spend another £55 for a fancy lock for my bag. Maybe I can get a better deal online? Beyond these couple of items, i’m still unsure about other stuff to take; do I take a fancy sheet, or a sleeping bag? What kind of footwear should I really wear, etc etc… Still so much to think about! Anyone having been travelling who has a worthy opinion, please share!
- Jay, this eats your laptop bag alive, should I take my Mac Pro with me, in this BADBOY?!
